Web27 sep. 2005 · I have a few simple questions before I start: 1. I'd like to use inline valves because it would look much nicer to conceal the valves in a box in the ground. But the valves that go above ground (the anti-siphon valves) have the anti-siphon feature. I gather that the anti-siphon device prevents contamination into my house line via backflow. Web30 apr. 2010 · Cut the outlet pipe and spin the valve off of the inlet pipe. Spin your new valve onto the inlet pipe, and then do whatever creative pipe fitting is needed to connect up the PVC side. Be carefull not to overtighten the female valve threads onto the male threads of the metal (galvinized?) pipe, Metal into plastic is usually not reccomended. AhHA!!
