WebSep 22, 2024 · Head Trauma. Hello everyone, so, my normal tinnitus in my right ear has now improved a lot, I hear it sometimes still in the morning but the rest of the day it's silent. But since around 1 week I hear this strange sizzle/hiss in my head that bothers me a lot. It’s kind of like an electrical wire switched on or air leaking out of a pipe. WebIt's definitely a sound that moves, and it frequently happens when I'm not moving at all. It sounds like sand in a plastic pipe traveling down from the back of my head to just below the base of my skull roughly. It lasts 3 or 4 seconds then stops.
